These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase and use of the Android app "QArchiv" (hereinafter: "Software") by natural or legal persons.
By paying the purchase price, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Deviating terms proposed by the customer are not recognized unless expressly agreed in writing.
The customer receives a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on one (1) Android device.
The license covers all updates within major version 1.x (e.g. V1.0, V1.1, V1.2). Future major versions with a new version branch (e.g. V2.0) are not included.
The following actions are expressly prohibited:
QArchiv is purchased once. No recurring costs, subscriptions, or cloud fees apply.
The developer provides support to the best of their knowledge (e.g. via email) but assumes no contractual obligation regarding bug fixes, availability, or updates.
The Software is provided "as is".
No liability is assumed for damages of any kind – in particular from a lack of evidentiary value of photos, data loss, operational disruptions, or malfunctions – to the extent permitted by law.
Excluded from this limitation are only damages caused by intent or gross negligence on the part of the developer.
QArchiv does not store user data in the cloud. All data (photos, metadata, voice notes) remain exclusively on your device.
For the optional FTP/FTPS upload, you decide the target server, authentication, and transmission security yourself. The developer has no access to this data.
German law applies. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
The place of jurisdiction is, to the extent permitted by law, Hameln, Germany.
Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.

QArchiv is an Android app usable purely offline. Your photos never leave your device.
There is no cloud connection, no tracking, no advertising, and no transmission of data to third parties. The app exclusively uses your smartphone's own functions (camera, GPS, storage).
QArchiv requires the following permissions – used exclusively locally on your device:
All recorded data (photo, timestamp, GPS, code, voice note) is stored directly in the image file's EXIF metadata block and remains on your device.
The optional upload goes exclusively to a server you specify yourself (FTP/FTPS).
Since all data is stored locally, you can:
No profiling and no automated processing takes place. Your data is only shared if you actively set up an upload yourself (e.g. FTP or TrueQ).
QArchiv optionally offers the ability to transfer photos to TrueQ. TrueQ is a product compatible with QArchiv but independently operated – not by us, but separately by:

Data processing within TrueQ (including forwarding to cloud storage such as Google Drive/AWS or connected shop systems such as Shopware, Shopify, and JTL) is governed by TrueQ's own privacy policy: trueq.de/datenschutz.php. This transmission only occurs if you actively set up the TrueQ connection in the FTP settings.
